WELCOME! I am Marissa Cuevas, I am a freshman at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. It's my new home away from home. My original home is only about four hours away in San Antonio, Texas. Yes, that is where our Horned Frog football team won the Alamo bowl game during Christmas Break in 2017. My major here at TCU is Movement Science in hopes to be a Physical Therapist. One of the biggest challenges I have faced in college is being so far from my family.
My family is the most important thing in my life and I miss them very much. My chihuahua named Bella has been a part of the family since I was five years old. I talk to my family about three times a week and they really motivate me to do the best that I can in my school work but to also have fun. They are a big part of why I chose to come to TCU because it is not so far away from them.
During Christmas break of 2017 I was able to see my niece and nephew who recently moved to Arizona for my brothers job, it was a lot of fun. They also mean a lot to me because I hope to be the best aunt that I could be for them even while I am away at college and rarely get to see them.

This portfolio is for my ENGL 10803 class here at TCU and I will be submitting my assignments onto this website. These assignments will be focused on rhetorically analyzing different genres of online writing, these can be found in the Blog section. The last three topics in the menu section will include my own version of the online writing genre that I previously analyzed.
